To start up with, the team work with management in the initial incubation and investment phase by providing funding, business management support and guidance as they move into fully fledged companies in their own right.
Keeping track on the direction in which the business is moving, the company follows the business in which it has invested into an established business. It sees whether the business processes are controlled and continue to provide the support to ensure the company is on track to achieving its objectives and potential. This continues until the time is right to close the loop be it a straight out sale, private equity play or listing.
The investment committee reports to the Cobra Group Board and its members include the group CEO, group CFO and a full time Group Investment Director.
